Liliana has a Masters in Environmental Sciences and 6 years of experience in EU environmental policies.
During 2016 – 2019, Liliana served as a Senior State Advisor at EU and International Policy Department at the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic Coordinator to the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2016.
During 2020-2021 her work focused more on decarbonisation and energy-related environmental issues. She became a coordinator of the Slovak Climate Initiative, advocating for energy efficiency, renewable energy, fossil fuel phase out and tackling energy poverty through initiating the green transition towards low-emission, low-carbon economy.
From 2021, Liliana is also coordinating the Technical Support Instrument Project on Structural Reform of the Regulatory Framework for Network Industries with cooperation with DG Reform to deliver recommendations in line with the EU Green Deal and Clean Energy Package goals.
In MESA 10, Liliana is a Research Fellow in EUKI project “Decarbonisation of the Industrial Sector: Sustainable Finance as an Opportunity”.
